QUESTION
Which app do you open when you have five free minutes?
One round, step by step
Everyone gets a question, answers in secret, and votes on their own screen. On the Results screen, the group discovers who received the different question.
You need at least 3 players in total, including the Host; 4 or more is recommended. Everyone joins the Lobby before the first round. No new players can join once play begins.
No passing a device around. Everyone answers and votes on their own screen.
A complete round
Each phase keeps the right information hidden until the group is ready to move on.

The Host chooses the category and total number of rounds. Both stay fixed for the session.
Every round has exactly one impostor. Everyone else gets the group question; the impostor gets a different but comparable question. Each player sees only their assigned question, and the app does not explicitly tell anyone their role.
Everyone submits one short private answer. Once accepted, it cannot be changed that round.
Once everyone has answered, the Host reveals the group question together with all attributed answers. The impostor question and identity remain hidden.
Compare the group question with the answers and ask who seems to have answered a different question. Discuss face to face; there is no chat or timer, and the Host starts voting when the group is ready.
Vote after seeing the group question and every answer, but without knowing the impostor question or identity. Every active player votes once for another active player; you cannot vote for yourself or change a submitted vote.
Only after everyone has voted does the Host reveal who the impostor was and which question they received. The Results screen shows the group question, impostor question, answers, and vote totals. You see totals, not who voted for whom.
In the same Results phase, the game awards round points and updates cumulative scores. The Host starts the next round when the group is ready. The same player cannot be selected as impostor in two consecutive assigned rounds, and the final round ends with the session’s final leaderboard.
Demo pair, not included in the game’s categories.

Impostor question
Which app would you recommend to someone who just bought their first phone?
This is not a simple majority rule. What matters is whether the impostor alone has the highest vote total.
Vote totals
Round points
Maria gets 0; Alex, Andrei, and Ioana each get +1.
Vote totals
Round points
Maria gets +2; everyone else gets 0.
The impostor is caught only if they have strictly more votes than every other individual player. Every non-impostor gets +1; the impostor gets 0.
If someone else has more votes, or the impostor ties for the highest total, the impostor escapes and gets +2; everyone else gets 0.
Only successfully completed rounds count toward the configured game length. A cancelled attempt does not use up a round. Scores accumulate only in the current session, and the leaderboard updates on the Results screen.
Equal scores remain equal; join order only determines display order.
A disconnected player remains active, and any accepted answer or vote stays valid. The game waits for missing input until they reconnect or the Host removes them. Reconnect is supported, but recovery is not guaranteed in every situation.
Free and Impostor+ change the available categories, configured round count, and player capacity—not how you answer, reveal, vote, or score. Only the Host needs Impostor+.
Some categories, including Unfiltered · 18+, cover adult themes. The 18+ marker is a content warning, not a confirmed App Store rating.
Gather at least three players, keep a device in each person’s hands, and let the answers give you away.
